Christine Myers
Christine Myers is a proven leader as a corporate executive, small business owner, presidential appointee, president of statewide trade organization. First elected in 2016 to the Morris County Commissioner Board, Christine led the adoption of debt reserve policy, and as increased funding for economic development, tourism and education to ensure the long-term prosperity of Morris County. In 2017, she was appointed Regional Advocate to U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy by the Trump Administration, where she achieved regulatory relief for thousands of business owners. She returned to the Board in 2023. In 2024 Christine was appointed president of the Employers Association of New Jersey in March of 2024. She holds a degree from the College of William and Mary, resides in Harding with her husband Stan Gorski and is a proud mother of sons, Tom, and Stan.

Doug Cabana
Douglas R. "Doug" Cabana is the longest-serving member of the Board of County Commissioners, having joined the board in April 1997 when it was still known as the Board of Chosen Freeholders. Recognized for his leadership on the board, Doug was elected by his colleagues to serve as director of the board in 2000, 2001, and again in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Doug has also had the privilege of also serving as Mayor of Boonton Township for six years and as a member of the township’s governing body for 11 years. He is also a member of the 200 Club of Morris County and a former president of the Morris County League of Municipalities. As past President of the New Jersey Association of Counties, it was under his leadership that the association became a driving force behind the now popular concept of “shared services.” Doug is an attorney who received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. He also has a degree in business management from Ithaca College.

Tom Mastrangelo
Recognizing public service as a calling, Tom was elected in 2010 to the Morris County Board of Commissioners (Freeholder) and has been re-elected four times. Under Tom’s direction and leadership key strategic policy decisions were made such as holding the line on property taxes and reducing spending, stopping property tax increases for eight years and implementing a $60 million debt reduction plan. As a result of Tom’s fiscal policies of reducing debt and holding the line on taxes, Morris County is independently rated as 1 of the 35 best run counties in America. Tom is currently the President and owner of Mind’s Eye Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University, an Executive MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickenson University, and a Juris Doctorate of Law from Seton Hall University School of Law. He performed his International Business study in England. Tom is married to Debbie Mastrangelo and has three grown children, Brittney, Michael and Christopher and loves spending time with his three young grandchildren.

Our Priorities
Deliver 8 years of 0% county tax increases and successfully reduced county debt.
Create jobs and opportunity by investing in economic development and educating our current and future workforce.
Keep Morris citizens safe by funding the Sheriff and Prosecutor’s office and coordinating with local law enforcement and first responders.
Keep Morris beautiful by preserving open space, 20,000 acres of parks, trails, and farmland.
